Pancake Sisters

The other day my friend Julia told me that a new place has opened in the 10th, rue Lucien Sampaix called Pancake Sisters. I am already a crepes and waffles lover so it was without doubts and eyes closed that I decided to try it one sunny morning. We ordered the breakfast menu including two sweet pancakes, one fresh orange juice and one hot beverage and extra scrambled eggs with chives cream. What a treat! I love the atmosphere of the place, the decoration with lots of small details very flee market style. At lunch break, the “sisters”, who are the making masters of all this delicious home-made pancakes recipes, have a suggestion of Pansters, their specialty. It is basically salty sandwich-pancakes where you had all the ingredients that tempt you. And it’s vegetarian and gluten free friendly! What else? During the afternoon, you can have a coffee break and hang out with your laptop seating at one of the colorful tables. It is now one of my favorite places. I love fluffy pancakes! Don’t you?

L’autre jour, Julia m’apprenait qu’un nouvel endroit avait ouvert dans le 10ème, rue Lucien Sampaix. Les Pancake Sisters ont débarqué à République pour notre plus grand bonheur! Je suis déjà une fan de crêpes et de gaufres alors c’était sans aucun doute et les yeux fermés que je décida d’y aller un matin ensoleillé. On opta pour une formule breakfast avec deux pancakes sucrés, une orange pressée et une boisson chaude et des œufs brouillés crème ciboulette en extra. Quel festin! J’adore l’ambiance et l’atmosphère du lieu, la décoration pleine de petits détails dans le style dénichés aux puces. A la pause déj, les « sisters », qui sont les maitresses réalisatrices de toutes ces délicieuses recettes de pancakes maison, offre une suggestion de Pansters, leur spécialité. Ca a l’allure d’un sandwich-pancake salé dans lequel on peut ajouter tous les ingrédients qui nous tentent. Et en plus il y a les options végétarien et sans gluten! Quoi d’autre? Pendant l’aprem, on peut s’accorder une pause café et trainer avec son ordi à l’une des tables colorées. C’est désormais une de mes adresses préférées, j’adore les pancakes bien moelleux! Pas vous?
